DR. TAN LEAN SIM
Dr. Tan Lean Sim (MB BCh B.A.O) is a medical graduate of the University College Galway (National University of Ireland) with over 30 years of experience as a Senior Medical Doctor. He practiced for four years in Ireland before returning to Malaysia to serve his fellow countrymen.
Dr Tan worked at Sarawak General Hospital from 1994 to 1997 before opening up his own private practice in 1997, in which he operated for 20 years.
He has been awarded multiple recognitions from the Malaysian government. Serving as the President of the Society of Private Practitioners Sarawak from 2011 to 2017 is one of his most notable achievements. To this day, he is still an esteemed member of the society.
With his accumulated medical experience, Dr Tan still felt that he was not doing enough for the people of Sarawak. He soon realised that conventional medicine only works for people with urgent health concerns. Meanwhile, the management of early stages of chronic health conditions still leaves much room for improvement.
After over 30 years of experience in the field of conventional medicine, Dr Tan has deduced that conventional methods alone do not help very much in the prevention of chronic diseases. This observation prompted him to venture into Integrative Medicine. He is passionate about raising awareness regarding the prevention of chronic diseases at a cellular level, as well as the fundamentals of healthy living.
Dr Tan Lean Sim is known for his empathy and his honourable medical principles and is currently practicing integrative regenerative medicine.
